Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Ensō gatherings are organised by the association ENSO FORUMS, reg. no. 40008362641, Senču iela 7-2, Riga, LV-1012, Latvia (“we”). We are the controller of your personal data. For any data question, write to info@enso.lv.
2. What data we process and why
Joining the circle (news by email)
When you enter your email on the site we store the address, the time of sign-up and the country it was made from. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). We use it to tell you about Ensō gatherings. Every email carries an unsubscribe link; after you leave, the address is deleted.
Buying a place
When you buy a seat or a season membership, payment is made in Stripe’s secure checkout. We receive and keep your name, email, phone number, the product, the amount and the payment reference. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and our accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)). With the order we also keep the source you came to the site from (for example the ad campaign or link name), so we know which channels work; legal basis: our legitimate interest. We never see or store card details — Stripe alone processes them.
Anonymous questions
In the question form (enso.lv/en/q) we keep only the question text, the chosen recipient, the language and the time. We do not store your name, contact details, IP address or location. Questions are used for discussion at Ensō gatherings and deleted after the season ends.
Correspondence
If you write to us, we process what you send in order to reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you.
Site statistics
Only with your consent we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Without consent no statistics cookies are set. See the Cookie Policy.
Measuring our ads
Only with your consent to marketing cookies we use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure how our ads on Facebook and Instagram perform. If you have consented and buy a membership, we send Meta the purchase amount, your email, phone number, first and last name, city, postal code and country in hashed (scrambled) form, and browser and random visitor identifiers, so Meta can link the purchase to an ad. If you join our newsletter, the hashed email is also attached to page-view events in your browser. Legal basis — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time in the cookie settings.
3. Who has access
Data is processed by trusted service providers acting on our instructions under data-processing agreements:
- Cloudflare — hosting and data storage (EU and US, under EU standard contractual clauses);
- Stripe — payment processing (Stripe Payments Europe, Ireland);
- Resend — sending our emails;
- Google — site statistics, only with your consent;
- Meta Platforms Ireland — ad measurement, only with your consent.
We do not sell your data or pass it to third parties for their marketing, other than the ad measurement described above, with your consent.
4. How long we keep it
- Newsletter addresses — until you unsubscribe.
- Purchase records — 5 years after the transaction, as required by accounting law.
- Correspondence — up to 2 years after the last message.
- Cookie consent record — 12 months.
5. Your rights
You may access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@enso.lv; we answer within a month.
If you believe we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (dvi.gov.lv).
6. Security
The site runs only over encrypted HTTPS, payments happen in Stripe’s certified environment, and data is accessible only to the people who need it to run the gatherings.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
